Standard Navy Blue, Weathered Paint Treatment, Gray and Sky Blue 2-Tone Belly, Retractible Landing Gear, AS3X, running on 3S.
This Bentwing Beast benefits from the following attention: custom paint detailing to bring out natural lines in model, in addition to weathering techniques, and fully painted belly to increase contrast.
At the heart of each model, this is what you’ll find when you lift the canopy and hit the throttle.
My first EPO plane of this size – ever! It was totally worth it, as this bird has been through too many crashes to count. It has repaired easier and better than I could’ve imagined, and the flight characterists are easy to dial back in after a crash, to produce another smooth flying experience. As an inverted gullwing plane, it can be more moody to fly than most, but the reward of a good flight is immense. The detail and proportions of this plane truly resemble the real F4U, and I am throughly impressed with this plane.

When you’re going to learn to fly, they say the larger the plane the easier it is to learn, but I’m not sure I totally agree with that. If you crash large planes it can get expensive and demoralizing quickly, so start with something easier if you have no experience with flying. If you understand flying, and airplanes, etc., then you may have a faster learning experience than those with little or no flying concepts under their belts. Try to find a friend who can fly, and Buddy Box with them to save you a lot of headaches, and to avoid basic crashes. Each plane is numbered – enjoy them while you can!
