This burgundy old-school misfit laughs at you because it has (and you don’t): luxurious paint coats to produce a deep self-made burgundy with hot rod scheme, 21T-Pinion + 54T-Spur, sound, stock suspension, stylish black rims, racing hubs and steel belted tires.
At the heart of each model, this is what you’ll find when you lift the hood and kick the tires.
Quite possibly the toughest most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another custom truck build, it required adjustable mounts. This Proline truck is truly a one-of-a-kind! I begged the guys at Willis Hobbies to hold 2 for me (foreshadow). The tires I had, and had hoped to use as my economical choice, since I produced some much variety off 3 sets of tires, weren’t working at all for this tough guy. I had to find the right tires – enter these studded fist-fighting dreams! They compliment the look I was going for, and completed my old-school truck. Silver stinger will leave you gut-punched and crying to momma, “Why Silver Stinger so mean maaaa!?”

Creating a timeless old-school color combo is rewarding. I needed burgundy, but there was none. I used a regular red sparingly, and then backed the heck out of it with black to create depth and a darker shade of red until I hit near-burgundy. That was a fun challenge and true test of my color-backing education to-date!
