Summary of This Radio Controlled EDF Jet Platform

A very impressive EPO Foam airplane – durable and tough like the rest! It paints well, and there are plenty of ways to upgrade the look with an airbrush, spray can, or even a paint brush.  This is my first custom L-39 Albatros – the pilot of this plane requested a repair, rebuild, and repaint – whatever I wanted.  The strong contrast makes this easy to see in any type of sky.  The design came out just how I visioned it for a quick turnaround. Jet black and the speed to match – a sure racer in the sky!

Jets with a small wingspan can be tricky to fly at first. My best advice is to start slow with simple flight, and work your way towards faster-and-faster rolls. It’s very easy to trick your eyes into thinking the top and bottom of the plane are reversed. Go with a belly color of contrast to speed up the visual connection to the plane in flight. The black and gray worked better than I was hoping for – the client loves it!
