Summary of This Radio Controlled Truck/Car Platform

Quite possibly the toughest most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As my first custom van build, it required extremely long adjustable mounts. This Proline body is well-shaped to resemble a classic van – seems like a Chevy! Vans are not really my thing, but I am on a mission to paint at least one of everything! I don’t think I’ll be doing another van, but this was a fun project. I added working lights to make it a nice wall decoration.

Engine

Engine Type Velineon (Traxxas)
Fuel Capacity 2S or 3S
Drivetrain 4WD

Wheels

Tires Type Proline Primes
Rim Size 2.8
Rims Black Racing Spokes
Hub Stock

When I finally figured out how to mount it, the mounts are so long and wobble the body so much, that it’s not really fit to drive. Once I started I kind of had to finish, so I put lights in it to hang it on the wall. Some projects are still fun, but not nearly as much fun as when you get to drive the body and see it flying by. The van is cool – not my thing.
