Racing Metallic Blue with Silver, Black, and Gunmetal Design, 2-Door Coupe Race Car, Sweep Racing Tires, Aftermarket Engine Sound, Foam Front Bumper and Small Rear Bumper.
This classy racer benefits from the following attention: luxurious paint coats to produce a deep metallic blue finish with clean race car vibes, a one-of-a-kind paint livery, 20T-Pinion + 52T-Spur, sports car sound, racing suspension, stylish black rims, racing hubs and steel belted tires.
At the heart of each model, this is what you’ll find when you lift the hood and kick the tires.
Quite possibly the toughest most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another sports car build it required adjustable mounts. This Delta Plastik USA gem is well-shaped to resemble a sweet looking Porsche 911 GT3. The client gave me “carte blanche” on this one! The idea was to make a build that’s classy, clean, and angry with some racing lines. I know he likes blue, plays the guitar, and digs #7. The core design is based on the end of a line of sheet music, integrates his number, and finishes with fully painted front and rear indicator lights. Custom badging and decals complete this build in a harmonic way. Hopefully the customer sings its praise! 😀

Overrrrrrloaddd! When a customer gives you the freedom to create whatever you want, it can be hard to narrow down your choices. It is always best to start with a single concept – something you can build from. As you go along, you can add ideas here and there on your way to a final concept. I was drawn to the lines in a music sheet for this build, and I wanted the colors to be edgy but not loud. I know the number needed to be integrated, so I let the design flow to a place that seemed natural, balanced, and clean. Avoid over-designing. Stick to the mission, and before you know it you’ll have beautiful music in your hands. This was a very rewarding build – love that blue!
