Iridescent Purple/Green Body, Gloss Silver Anodized Aluminum Roof, Black Fenders, 2-Door Beetle, Proline Prime Tires, Aftermarket Engine Sound, Custom Front Bumper and Small Rear Bumper.
This purple and green machine enjoys the following attention: luxurious paint coats to produce an interesting color-changing deep metallic flake paint scheme, 19T-Pinion + 51T-Spur, stylish black rims, big on-road street tires, truck sound, stock suspension.
At the heart of each model, this is what you’ll find when you lift the hood and kick the tires.
Quite possibly the toughest and most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another custom Bug build, it required adjustable mounts. This Pro-Line gem is ready to hit the pavement – hard – for the greenbacks! After having made 21 custom bodies, this street version of the Buggin’ Beetle is just what I wanted to see from a twin brother – similar yet totally different! To get it to pop required MANY coats of paint.

When using iridescent paints apply your first coats with plenty of drying time. In addition, take the time to apply as many coats as you can possibly tolerate doing, then when you back it with black or whatever color is recommended on the cap, you will see depth in the paint for miles – very rewarding! Most of my iridescent work are 2 cans of paint for a particular color, plus the backer.
