Summary of This Radio Controlled Truck/Car Platform

Quite possibly the toughest most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another custom truck build, it required adjustable mounts. This Proline truck is truly a favorite challenge of mine! The second ’56 reserved at Willis Hobbies has shown it’s head, in the form of a truly cool, and totally unexpected color scheme that’s going to leave you staring for a few minutes seeing Floaters.  Digest the Diva’s rainbow grille – that’s her smiling as she blow on by you with fun and style!  Take it all in, because she’s so fast, you might never see her again…

Using multi-layered paint, like Tamiya’s Lame Flake is always a risk, but when you get it to work it is totally worth it.  I find laying down more than you think is the way to go.  Maybe even use the whole can!  At times ghosting things I find you should use less than you think – this was a case where I knew to use it all.  I’m very happy with the outcome of this one, but mostly because it was for someone else…
