Quite possibly the toughest and most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another custom truck build, it required adjustable mounts. This Pro-Line gem is so old-hippie and awesome! After having made 15 custom bodies, these colors really jumped out at me as to something I wanted to do.  I honestly can’t see anything but a VW Beetle being this funky – seemed perfect!  To get it to pop required MANY coats of paint.

When using iridescent paints apply your first coats with plenty of drying time.  In addition, take the time to apply as many coats as you can possibly tolerate doing, then when you back it with black or whatever color is recommended on the cap, you will see depth in the paint for miles – very rewarding!  Most of my iridescent work are 2 cans of paint for a particular color, plus the backer.
