Summary Of This Radio Controlled Truck/Car Platform

Quite possibly the toughest and most durable RC car ever built. Upgrades well, and plenty of options for performance upgrades. As another sports car build it required adjustable mounts. This Delta Plastik USA gem is well-shaped to resemble a sweet looking Porsche 911 exotic racer. I wasn’t familiar with this car much before this project, nor any Porsche really, but each one fanned my flames for Porsche – particular ones only though. This GT1 was my follow-up to Big Pearls the M3. The masking of each black element (i.e.: vents, ducts, grills), was excessive. Looked great, but I later realized stickers cover most of those elements on many build. I was so happy with my second painting, but damn was masking into those corners needlessly tough. The roof is my favorite color combo of all roof attention that I’ve paid. This one re-tuned on the time investment for a striking look!

Unnecessary masking, or being too aggressive on the wrong body will certainly lead to disaster. Put something together that’s doable, not so impossible that when completed, NOBODY could have made look good without spending months on it. Hobby projects shouldn’t linger too long or you may lose interest. I can promise you the cars were more fun to build and use than the tedious work of the website. Masking is the same – it takes a long time and a lot of effort to do something in reasonable time and make it look great. Time is your best ally.
